LASU School of Agriculture to hold a commencement lecture


Lagos State University (LASU) which recently just started her programme in Agriculture at a satellite campus at Epe  has planned to do a commencement lecture for its students and  also open to all interested in Agricultural development and management.

The commencement lecture topic is tagged, Economic Diversification for Sustainable Growth and Development: A Way Forward for Nigerian Agriculture which is to be delivered by the Guest lecturer, Chief Emmanuel Ijewere, Chairman of Best Foods Farms Ltd and Co-ordinator of Nigeria Agriculture Business Group.

The lecture is to hold on the 28th of June at its satellite campus at Epe and has a lot of promising personalites,Special guests of honours also attending the lecture,some of them including the current Commissioner of Agriculture in Lagos state Hon Toyin Suarau, Mr Obafela bank-Olemoh, Special Adviser to the Governor on Education while the Guest of Honour is Dr Olayiwole Onasanya, the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture.


The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun will be the Chief Host and Professor O. B Kehinde, the Acting Dean of the School of Agriculture will be the host.
